Cookies

This site sets cookies only if you accept Google Analytics. Which cookies, for how long, and how to change your choice.

This site sets cookies only if you accept Google Analytics in the cookie banner.

What that means

If you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner at the foot of the page, Google Analytics 4 sets two first-party cookies on this site: _ga and _ga_ followed by a short code that identifies our Analytics property. Both last 13 months; Google Analytics keeps the event data for 14 months, and the privacy notice describes what it collects. If you choose “Reject”, or make no choice, these cookies are not set and nothing is loaded from Google. We set no advertising cookies and no preference cookies. Apart from Google Analytics when you accept it, we embed nothing from a third party: no fonts from a font service, no maps, no video players, no social widgets. The chat window, when its option is shown, is part of this site rather than a third-party widget, and its messages to our chat service carry no cookies; the WhatsApp option is a plain link.

Session storage is not a cookie

Session storage is not a cookie: your browser does not send it with requests on its own, and it is cleared when the tab closes. When the chat options are shown, this site keeps at most two entries there. sh_iletisim_dikkat holds only a small counter of the brief movements that draw attention to those options, and whether they have been stopped for this tab. sh_sohbet_oturum, written only once you open the chat window, holds the random session ID that our chat service creates, so that the conversation can continue while the tab is open; the window sends that ID with its messages. Neither entry holds your messages, your number or a time. Our code also contains a question list that would be held in session storage; it is not rendered on any published page, so nothing is stored for it today. If that feature is ever switched on it would hold identifiers of the questions you tapped, and nothing else.

Where your choice is kept

Your answer to the cookie banner is kept in your browser's local storage, under the name sh-olcum-onayi, together with the time you gave it. Local storage is not a cookie either: your browser does not send it with requests, and this entry is not sent to our server. We ask again six months after your choice. You can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page; if you withdraw your consent, no new measurement is recorded from then on and the _ga cookies on this device are deleted, while data already sent stays in Google Analytics for at most 14 months, as the privacy notice explains.

If this ever changes

Advertising is our intended source of income later, and advertising generally involves cookies. If we introduce it, this page will say so before it happens, the cookie banner will ask for your consent to advertising cookies before any is set, and the change will be recorded in the corrections log. Until then, this page can be verified simply: open your browser's storage inspector and look.

Status of this page

This page was reviewed by a lawyer and published on 1 September 2026, the day the review was signed off. What that review covered is the text as it stood on that day. On 17 October 2026 the passages on what this means and on session storage were rewritten to describe the chat window and its entries in session storage; that change has not been read by a lawyer, and it is recorded in the corrections log. On 29 October 2026 the opening sentence, the passage on what this means and the passage on what would happen if this changes were rewritten, and the section on where your choice is kept was added, when Google Analytics was added behind a consent banner; that change was reviewed and approved by our legal team on 29 October 2026, and it is recorded in the corrections log.
